Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website ambaccountingltd.site and any engagement with AMB Accounting Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by AMB Accounting Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its address at 4 Alderson Way, Haddenham, Aylesbury, Bucks, England, HP17 8FY, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 884 958 916.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. Statutory audit and our status
We do not carry out statutory audit and we are not a registered auditor. Statutory audit in the United Kingdom may only be carried out by a person or firm registered as a statutory auditor with a Recognised Supervisory Body under Part 42 of the Companies Act 2006, and it is a criminal offence to act as a statutory auditor without that registration. The inclusion of “auditing activities” in the Companies House classification of our registered activities is a statistical classification and is not an offer of audit services. Nothing on this website is an offer to act as auditor, and no engagement with us creates one. Where an audit is required we will say so and refer you to a registered auditor.
We do not hold ourselves out as chartered accountants, chartered certified accountants or certified public accountants, and we do not use any title restricted to members of a professional body of which we are not a member. We do not carry out insolvency work or any reserved legal activity, including probate. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not give investment advice or advise on, arrange or recommend regulated financial products, mortgages, pensions or insurance.
3b. Engagements, records and responsibility
Work is carried out only under a written engagement letter setting out the scope, what remains the client’s responsibility and the fees; nothing on this website forms an engagement. The client remains responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the records, information and explanations supplied to us, for maintaining its own accounting records as the law requires, and for its own statutory obligations. The directors of a company remain responsible for its accounts and for its filing and tax obligations, whoever prepares them. Accounts and returns are prepared from the information supplied; we do not verify that information unless the engagement expressly says so. Advice given relates to the circumstances, information and law applicable at the time it is given, and tax law and practice change. Nothing on this website is advice for your particular situation.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
